On-Demand Trainings
Recognizing the need for housing counselors to have flexible and dynamic learning opportunities, we’ve launched our first on-demand training opportunity, Compliance Matters: The 2024 Definitive HUD Data Compliance Course for HUD-Certified Housing Counselors.
Note: New enrollments for Compliance Matters are on pause to accommodate scheduled maintenance and updates, ensuring the course meets the highest standards and reflects the most current HUD requirements. We are excited to relaunch an updated, enhanced version of the course after the next HUD Handbook update.

Our Housing Action Training Center offers a limited number of training scholarships for housing counselors who work for HUD-approved agencies.
Reasonable Accommodations

Many of our trainings are now virtual, hosted through Zoom, enabling participants from across the nation to join us.

Housing Matters Conference
Each year, we bring together as many as 350 housing professionals who care about expanding and protecting affordable housing and ending homelessness in Illinois.
2025 Housing Matters will take place on October 16–17 in Bloomington, IL. Registration will open in July.
